Hello lovelies,

How are you all? I'm feeling good, saw Bill Bailey live couple days ago and it was such fun! For those who don't know who Bill Bailey is, he's a British comedian, actor and also a talented musician :)

Another month has passed and it's time for Paint All The Nails nail art challenge! This month's theme is ANIMAL PRINT and I'm doing FAWN PRINT NAILS! I wanted to do these for years and now I finally had a reason. It was a super rush job as I did them last night, I didn't want to miss this challenge.

So let's have a look at what I've created...

Here's how I did the nails:

Firstly I've painted all nails with a coat of OPI A-Piers To Be Tan. Then I sponged on Zoya Louise, Nyssa, Spencer and OPI A-Piers To Be Tan on all nails creating a rough gradient that mimics the fawn's fur. Then I've used white acrylic paint and tiny nail art brush and painted on the spots. I wanted them to look realistic so each spot is feathered so it looks a bit like fur. I hope I did a good job :) All is sealed with Sienna Byron Bay Lightning Top Coat. This is a brand new top coat I'm testing and so far I'm loveing it! It didn't smudge the design, dried super fast and didn't shrink the polish. So far so good, review will come soon!

The manicure itself from start to finish took about 2 hours (one hand) so it was quite time-consuming but I'm loving the result and enjoying wearing it. I hope you like it too and let me know what you think of the tutorial!

Have a lovely day and check out the animal print manicures from other bloggers below and the hashtag #paintallthenailsanimalprint on social media :)

Hello lovelies,

I've decided to join another nail art challenge - ABC Challenge!

ABC Challenge: A is for Abstract | Nail Art Challenge

What is the ABC Challenge?
"The ABC Challenge is a nail art challenge inspired by the letters of the alphabet. The goal is to complete all of the 26 letters. But don't let that deter you if you can't participate each week, or if you want to join in late. Post your manicures that correspond with the schedule on your social media with the hashtag #nailpolishsocietyabc. If you have a blog you can upload the Inlinkz to you post and add you link."

You can read everything about it in this post from Emily from Nail Polish Society, who is hosting it :)

My A is for Abstract. I've chosen abstract as a representation of the letter A for this week. Today's nails are inspired by a picture of a painting that I saw on Pinterest. I tried to find out the original author but I was not successful. If you know the artist, let me know!

I've started with a base coat and two coats of Color Club French Tip. Then I wanted to imitate the rough textured gradient we can see in the picture so I sponged on the nail polishes. The first colour I've used was Models Own Everyday Grey, followed by Models Own Sarong Wrap, Zoya Thandie, Models Own Red Lustre, Models Own Brunette Red and Purple Bandana. Then I've added little bit more white over the grey to give it some depth. Next step was the spiral. I've use black acrylic paint and thin nail art brush.

Lots of polishes, right? But I think the result was worth it. I really like the painting and also how my nails turned out :) What do you think?
