Challenge accepted!

Hello lovelies,

About a month ago, Sophie from My Awesome Beauty challenged me to re-create her manicure she calls Peek-A-Boo Bling. It's basically a painted nail and crystal rhinestones under the nail tips. I loved the idea and accepted the challenge and here's the result!

I have used Zoya Sailor and Swarovski crystals from Stephen Arnold Ltd. e-shop*. The crystals are very sparkly and look so much better than the cheap plastic ones from nail wheels. It took 50 crystals to do it but I could have done with 5 more. I'm also re-using the crystals because I can clean them with acetone. I hate to waste good rhinestones :)

 

It took quite a while to finish this look because I've had to place the crystals carefuly but I love the result! Do you?

Gorgeous! And great color choice. Did you wear it only for the picture or did you have it on for some time? Because I'm really curious about how practical this would be!

Cool idea! Does look good on longer nails! I've seen a lot of (and done myself) using polish under the nails, but the rhinestones is a first that I've seen. Interesting!

You can do this with short nails too, just one row of crystals. Check out Sophie's post, she has short nails and it still looked awesome!

It wasn't that bad but I didn't wear it for too long so the topcoat didn't harden too much. I took a clean up brush and using acetone I brushed underneath the crystals and they dislodged easily
