Hello lovelies,

How are you all? I've got another tutorial for you inspired by the Swarovski limited edition They're Real! mascara by Benefit. Lovely people from Benefit asked me if I'd like to do an inspired nail art and I was very excited to do so because I love their They're Real! mascara.

Benefit has introduced this beautiful limited edition of this mascara with Swarovski crystals on the cap and I couldn't do anything else than go for a black matte look with crystals on it. I spiced it up with the mascara name across my nails to make it more interesting :)

I really like the edgy look and the letters make it look at least a bit original. Of course if I was to wear mani like this I would probably wear all nails black with crystals but I wanted to do and inspired look. What do you think?

Products I've used to create these nails:

A England Camelot

OPI Matte Top Coat

OPI Natural Nail Base Coat

Seche Vite Top Coat

Swarovski crystals

Nail art brush

Zoya Arizona

And here's how to get that matte & crystal look:

How pretty is this mascara edition!? Normally the packaging is in metallic grey colour but this Swarovski edition is matte black which makes the crystals stand out nicely. It's edgy and kind of bad-ass and I love it! Plus the crystals make it much easier to unscrew and grip the cap.

I'll share with you my views on They're Real! mascara in case you're interested at all ;) I've first got a sample size in a beauty box and since then I've loved the mascara. The firm plastic brush works well separating my lashes and lengthening them a lot whilst not being clumpy. I never apply more than two coats to avoid too much mascara and lashes sticking together. It is also very resistant and stays nice all day and even withstanded some tears. So far only waterproof make-up remover worked (I use this Yves Rocher remover) but Benefit has a special makeup remover for this mascara as well.

Since my first sample size got used up, I bought a full-size and now I've been given this gorgeous Swarovski limited edition. Needless to say - I'm a fan! The only con is the price tag but it's worth it. Regular edition costs £19.50 and this limited edition is sold for £21.50 at Benefit website and their stands.

Hope you've enjoyed today's post and have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

I got a surprise package from Mont Bleu just after Christmas and I was in awe. I love crystals and sparkly things so package from Mont Bleu always gets me jumping to the ceiling. This time I got products with red crystals and since red is my favourite colour of all time (how predictable am I?) I was super happy. It seems very fitting that Valentine's Day is coming up all products are red :)

These are the things I received:

So as you can see, there's so many pretty things! Let's start with the ring and earrings...

The earrings I got are red Crystal Stud Earrings EMB10.9.They are not tiny I must say so I wasn't quite used to wearing bigger earrings like that. But they are definitely a piece that will catch people's attention. "Earrings are covered with hypo-allergenic metal rhodium, which does not cause an allergic reaction. Our earrings do not contain zinc or any other harmful metals." I've previously tried and worn earrings from Mont Bleu and whilst they are beautiful the metal started to blacken after a while.

Then there is the ring - two red crystal cubes in silver metal. It looks very interesting and unusual. I couldn't find this ring on their website so here is the link to the whole ring section. The size of the ring was too big for my small fingers but I managed to 'bend' it a bit to make it fit nicely.

As usual I got a nail file which I'm very happy about. This big crystal nail file has red, pink, gold and silver crystals. As you might remember from my previous reviews, Mont Bleu nail files are my favourite. They are made from tempered glass and have an expensive and luxurious feel about them. They also come in a black velvet pouch for protection.

These nail files are super smooth yet they file very efficiently. I usually use them at the end of the filing to smooth the edges and prevent nail splitting.

Next up is a gorgeous handbag holder with red and clear crystals. I've previously received yellow and green crystal one but I just love red better :)

I've been using Mont Bleu handbag holder since April and it was so handy many times. You know the times when you go to a restaurant and they seat you at a table for two and there's no place other than the floor to put your handbag? Then this little holder becomes so invaluable! I've also had many compliments on it because the crystals make them so pretty.

And THE mirror! I was absolutely flipping over this red crystal encrusted metal mirror. It is the most beautiful thing I own. So sparkly, so blingy and it feels heavier than usual mirrors and seems to be a great quality. I've got tonnes of cheap plastic mirrors so this feels like the most luxurious mirror ever! I got the Design compact mirror ACS-11 It is supplied in a box with a satin pouch to protect it when carrying in your handbag. But I must admit that this beauty comes with a hefty price tag of €99 and I don't think I would pay as much for a mirror unless I was really rich lol.

Next up is red crystal beads Shambala Bracelet which is "made of finest crystal and possess flawless shining. Made with SWAROVSKI® ELEMENTS. Shamballa bracelets are made with waxed cord tied in knots using macramé technique. You can easily adjust the size of the bracelet, making sure it will fit nicely on your wrist. The bracelets are presented in leatherette box. Size of each crystal bead is 10mm. There are a total of 11 crystals in the shamballa bracelet."

It is a nice addition to the other red crystal jewellery I've received. It fits my wrist nicely and it is easy to adjust. I can't wait for summer to wear it with my favourite red dress!

And lastly, I've received a crystal decorated hair brush. "Hair brushes are suitable for everyday use on all types of hair. Wooden hair brushes are made in Germany of nut wood with selected boar bristles. Pure boar bristles are very gentle and do not damage hair; they do not generate static electricity. Our hair rushes are very easy o clean. They have a 244mm/9.6 inches length."

Wow, another product that feels like a luxury. I've been using it for a while and it does a good job but I would recommend it for shorter or mid-length hair. My hair is very long and Tangle Teezer is still my preferred hair brush.

I feel like I've been completely spoilt rotten, thank you so much Mont Bleu for treating me to these! I just can't fault anything; all the products are pretty, well-made and even better, from Czech Republic! And don't get me started on the mirror again, the best one ever!

There is currently a sale going on so if you'd like to purchase any of Mont Bleu products, use voucher code: "VALENTINE" and get your 25% off. This sale ends 16.02.2014.
