Hello lovelies,

I'm still not done with Valentine's Day posts and I've had a person pointing out that I'm forgetting about people who are single on Valentine's Day or just don't like this day. So I came up with today's design that I named Target My Heart. It is my expression of hurt, anger and any other emotion tied to a hearbreak when you just want to 'shoot' the other one to the heart...we've all been there, it sucks!

I have used beautiful red creme Illamasqua Throb as a base colour and very cool Dance Legend Top Geometric glitter topper which contains black & white glitter of different shapes and sizes. And of course OPI Alpine Snow for the accent nail. Then I painted the black target and bullet holes with black acrylic paint.

I have entered this manicure into Nail Polish Canada's Valentine's Day Nail Art Challenge contest so if you'd like to vote for me you can do so HERE. Thank you ;)

Hope you liked it and see you tomorrow! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

I'm excited to tell you about a new nail project I'm part of - Nailvengers Assemble! Just to tell you a bit more about it...it's five girls doing one theme at the end of each month. This month the theme is New Year, New Technique which is quite self-explanatory. Each of us will do a new technique to us. For me it's stamping decals which I'm a newbie to.

Joining me in the challenge will be Sammy (The Nailasaurus), Alice (One Nail To Rule Them All), Allie (Brit Nails) and Amelia (xAmeliax)....pretty damn good girls!

So here's the stamping decals manicure I've created:

Nailvengers Assemble! - New Year, New Technique
Nailvengers Assemble! - New Year, New Technique
Nailvengers Assemble! - New Year, New Technique
Nailvengers Assemble! - New Year, New Technique

For this design I have used A England polishes Encore Margot, Camelot and Guinevere and Seche Vite topcoat but it is better if you use thinner and not fast drying topcoat as those won't be as stiff. I've learned this information after I created this mani and tutorials so that's why I'm using Seche Vite. The stamping plate I've used is MoYou London Sailor Collection 05 (XL).

Now there are different methods of creating and applying stamping decals and I guess you'll just have to find the one that suits you best. I have prepared video tutorial for three methods so hope it will help you master the decals!

I've chosen a subtle colour scheme but with the stamping decals technique you can go as wild colour-wise as you want and even every single part of the design can be in different shade. How awesome would that be!?!

So that's all to it. If you recreate any of our manicures then please use #nailvengers, we would love to see it! You can also follow us on Facebook:

I hope you've enjoyed the manicure and tutorials and please check out the other blog entries from girls:
