WARNING! This post contains pictures of feet! ;)

Hello lovelies,

Today I have a report from my visit to a SpaRitual Salon, my pre-wedding pedicure and also review of SpaRitual Indonesian Ginger Body Butter! It's been a while since my wedding and my pre-wedding manicure but I still want to share my experience because it was lovely.

I have been invited for a pedicure by the lovely official SpaRitual distributors for Czech Republic and Slovakia, long before my wedding. I was really looking forward to it because pedicures are always so lush and pampering and I really enjoy them. I was first greeted by a fellow nail blogger friend Lenka aka Mikrosvet by Ellen who kindly joined me that afternoon. I love meeting nail bloggers from different countries, it's always so exciting, like a first date lol!

She took few pictures of me during the treatment...

The SpaRitual studio was small and prepared for two customers at a time so it felt private. I'm not really comfortable in those big salons with one chair next to each other so this was lovely. The pedi chair...or rather cushy armchair...I was sat in was just the beginning of the whole lot of pampering! I think I spent about hour being spoiled and then had a lovely chat with the salon owners and SpaRitual distributors about anything and everything nails and SpaRitual.

I haven't had pedicure this nice before so I even happilly paid for it despite being invited for free treatment. I think that probably tells how much I liked it. I stupidly wore closed shoes so skipped nail polish and had just base coat applied. I polished my toes later myself and stamped the big toes with the same white designs as my bridal nails to match. The picture is from week after the pedicure just so you know :D

I walked away with SpaRitual Indonesian Ginger Body Butter to try and I'd like to review it as well. This is the first time I've tried anything SpaRitual non-related to nails (other than the whole SpaRitual pedicure) so I was pleased that it was a nice product as well. SpaRitual is widely used in spas as well as in nail salons and the products are definitely higher-end and luxurious-feeling.

SpaRitual says: "Formulated with Fair Trade Certified Organic Shea Butter and vitamin-rich blend of Plum Oil and Maqui Berry, to soothe, nourish and condition the skin."

The body butter comes in a 228ml plastic tub and stylised box and with a little spatula to scoop out the product. I always prefer not to get creams with my fingers and avoid getting dirt and bacteria in so I like the included spatula.

The first thing anyone will notice with this butter is the scent. It is a strong and quite authentic smell of ginger which might not suit everyone but if you like ginger, go for it! The butter is nice, light and fluffy and easy to work with. I like that it soaks in quite fast and doesn't leave overly greasy residue. As for the effects on the skin - it seems to moisturize nicely and slightly warms up the skin after a while thanks to the ginger. The ginger scent lingered for few hours as well. It's a lovely body butter and I'll definitely try some more scents!

Sometimes it's nice to blog about some other things than just my latest manicure so I hope you've enjoyed this post.

If you're wondering where to buy this SpaRitual Body Butter, it's available at SpaRitual UK, SpaRitual US and of course SpaRitual CZ for Czech fans!

Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Some time ago I was approached by Pamela from Pedi-Sox if I'd like to review her unique product - Pedi-Sox on my blog and give away few pairs. Then I've realised I've never done a single post aimed at feet. I don't like to show my feet and this is probably the only post I ever will do but I still wanted to do this review because it's a great product. You can currently win a pair for yourself in my giveaway.

There are several types of Pedi-Sox like Original, Pro, Ultra, Lite and Spa Deluxe. I got the Pro and Spa Deluxe and the main difference is the material. Pro consists of acrylic, nylon and elastic and the Spa Deluxe of 70% cotton and 30% acrylic. The Spa Deluxe socks feel softer so I would recommend to pay the extra $1 and get the Spa ones or the Original ones that are cotton blend as well. The only disadvantage is that the Spa Deluxe socks come in white colour only.

I've tested them few times already and I really appreciate the idea and thought that went into this product. I used to hate painting my nails in the cold months because my feet are constantly freezing and now I have Pedi-Sox :) If you want to special treat your feet you can put a foot cream on first and then the Pedi-Sox and you can even leave them on overnight and it is then like an overnight foot mask if you get my drift.

I've been using a black pair of Pro Pedi-Sox which felt quite tight; just to give you an idea, my feet are UK 5 size. I would however check out other types as some are stretchier (Spa Deluxe felt easier to stretch). Overall, I think it's a great beauty accessory and since receiving them, Pedi-Sox is a necessity in my pedicure routine.

Pedi-Sox are available at http://originalpedisox.com/ (US) and at various distributors throughout US and internationally and at www.pedisox.co.uk (UK)

Don't forget to check out my giveaway where you can win yourself a pair of Pro Pedi-Sox!
