Hello lovelies,

Today's post is about stamping and a massive Pueen Fireworks Festival stamping plate! I have been testing it for quite a while and now I'm ready to share my experience with you.

Pueen Fireworks Festival stamping plate is a buffet-style plate so there are many more design combinations you can create other than just each separate image.

The first time I've properly tried this plate on nails was over my Azature Pink and White Diamond manicure. I thought a simple zebra pattern would beautifully highlight the glitter base colours. I've used Creative Stamper and Konad Black stamping polish. The plate worked nicely and the zebra pattern transferred very well and almost perfectly. The pattern on the plate is quite large so I got away with using half of the pattern on one nail therefore making the stamping and cleaning much faster.

The Fireworks Festival plate is covered in a blue foil to protect it and it also comes in a light blue cardboard cover to protect the plate in transit.

"This plate measures 7"x9.5" (18x24cm) with sanded edges and backing for easy, comfortable handling and a protective nylon screen. The plate is made from high grade stainless steel and backing to prevent scratching during storage."

I really struggle with photographing stamping plate patterns because I always end up with camera/lamp/mine reflection. I have tried to capture all images on the plate for you and I've also test-stamped some of the image parts using the Creative stamper:

I love different patterns and floral patterns and there are plenty on this plate. Sometimes I don't like buffet-style plate when the pattern areas are so small that they don't cover whole nail but luckily, I haven't had that problem here. Overall, I'm very happy with this plate, it doesn't have any badly etched areas or mistakes and it stamps nicely.

If you would like to buy the Fireworks Festival or any other plate, you can do so at the Pueen website here.

Have a lovely day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

What a weekend! On Thursday evening I bought tickets to see my favourite Czech band Krystof who were playing in London after long 8 years! It was exciting and a lot of fun but surviving Sunday wasn't easy! We came home close to 4 am so I was knackered and with a massive headache the whole next day. But it was worth it!

Today's nail polishes come from Azature, the creators of the most expensive nail polish. Azature representative approached me and offered to send me few polishes to try so I happily agreed. I have been following Azature on Instagram and have also seen many swatches of their stunning glitters and other polishes on various blogs. Azature polishes have a very distinctive and attractive bottle that reminds me of a cut precious stone. I have been sent their Pink Diamond and White Diamond glitters (and Black Diamond) and I've decided to pair the two together...

Polishes came in a chic black pouch and black snake-print embossed box with Azature logo. One of the most cool packaging ever (pssst! they also included a signed blind fold mask as the 50 Shades Of Grey film was just out!). Azature polishes are well-known for containing real black diamond in them and that just makes them that bit more special.

Both Pink Diamond and White Diamond polishes were finer-than usual glitters in a tinted base. They were quite sheer so I've applied three coats for the coverage you see in the pictures. They are best for layering but I wanted to see how many coats it would take for good opacity. They applied easily and formula was nice and not too gritty when dry. One coat of thicker topcoat was enough for smoothing out the surface. The sparkle of the polishes really stands out, especially in the sun. I really liked wearing them.

I've read great things about the darker glitter shades and cremes so if you are after great pigmentation perhaps you might like to try those. These are much better as a topper.

You can find out more at Azature website and on Facebook and Twitter. The polishes can also be purchased from Azature website and from Kitson, SelfridgesHarvey Nichols Saudi ArabiaRon Robinson and Ron Herman Japan for $25.

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
