Hello lovelies,

I've got here Nicole by OPI Deck The Halls...Kardashian Style collection. I'm a bit late with these so hopefully you'll like my swatches :)

This collection is available now for the holiday season and consists of six shades. Three shimmers and three glitters. These are new additions to the existing Kardashian Kolors line.

A Gold Winter's Night -mix of small rose-coloured glitter and gold and teal bar glitter. The bottle is packed full so you will get a great amount of glitter on the brush. I'm wearing two thicker coats and as you can see, the coverage is very good. It applied very easily and I liked that I didn't have to bother with glitter placement. It didn't dry completely smooth so I have applied topcoat. The drying time was average and removal was hard as it's a glitter.

Kardashing Through The Snow - small and same-sized multi-coloured glitter. It is a mix of red, blue, green and gold glitter in a clear base. This one does not contain as much glitter as the previous polish so when I applied two thicker coats it wasn't perfect. However I did not applied third coat so you can see the coverage you can get with two coats. Not that bad... It is better for layering than for wearing by itself. It dried rather slowly and removal was glitter difficult :) No topcoat

All Is Glam, All It Bright - fine silver, blue and red glitter. I'm pretty sure it's only these three colours but all of them together kinda look like there is a rosy-pink in it as well. The glitter is very dense so it is not good for layering. I'm wearing two coats which were enough for a full coverage. It applied easily despite the thicker formula. It dried slightly gritty so I have applied topcoat.

Deck The Dolls - vibrant blue shimmer. It's a lovely colour that has little silver specs in it and even though it's not very Christmassy it's a nice shade. It applied very easily but the pigmentation is not excellent. I am wearing three thin coats. Polish dried fast but also little streaky. I'm not wearing topcoat.

Here We Kome A-Karoling - dark grape purple with ink blue shimmer. The colour is so gorgeous and deep! It has a great formula - it applied nicely and the pigmentation is good. I've applied two coats that were fully opaque. The drying time was average but topcoat would solve the problem.

Keeping Up With Santa - deep red shimmer. This is my absolute favourite from the whole collection! I love reds and this one is just PERFECT! The colour is so rich and shimmery, almost streak-free. The formula was excellent, it applied very easily. Keeping Up With Santa is almost one-coater but in the end I've applied second coat. It dried fast and glossy so I'm not wearing topcoat. Removal was easy even though I really didn't want to take this one off.

The collection has a good selection of colours and finishes and the formula of all of them was good. It's a limited edition collection so if you like any of these you should get them now :) They are sold for $7.99 each in the U.S. at select Target, KMart, ULTA, CVS, Meijer, Sears, Kroger, H-E-B, Duane Reade, Fred Meyer, Giant Eagle, Harmon, and Winn-Dixie locations.  In Canada, these lacquers will be retailed for $10.99 each in Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaw, and Jean Coutu.

So what do you think? Did you pick up some of these already?

Hello lovelies,

I got a surprise package from lovely Adina who is behind amazing A England brand and I'm going to share with you what was in it.... There were two new shades - And The Moonbeams... and She Walks In Beauty. They are both gold shimmer based and are both great additions to the Heavenly Quotes line.

If you haven't tried A England polishes then you should immediately go to their website and buy some! The best ones imo are holographic shades and Gothic beauties if you like dark blackened shades (but all are excellent quality)!

A England And The Moonbeams... and She Walks Beauty

And The Moonbeams...- extra fine pale gold shimmer in a clear base. The bottle is packed with the shimmer particles so you'll get a good amount on the brush. It is however not that opaque and it's better for layering. I have used three generous coats and I feel that it still isn't enough. Because of the thick layer of polish it dried slow but thin layer over a different polish dries fast. It applied really easily :)

She Walks In Beauty - extra fine pale gold shimmer in a clear base with added rose pink glitter. It appears to me that She Walks In Beauty is the same as And The Moonbeams... but with addition of different-sized rose pink glitter. It looks very feminine and delicate to me. I have applied one coat of SWIB over ATM... which makes it nice and opaque. SWIB is great for gradient and for layering but can be applied by itself, opaque in three coats. It has slightly thicker formula so I think I'll need a thinner later on. Otherwise it applied good and dried quite fast as well.

You know I have a soft spot for A England, right? These two polishes are really nice additions to the polish line and I love the poems they were inspired by (you can read all the info at Ommorphia Beauty Bar). The formula of these polishes somehow differs from the rest of the A England polishes. These two are not opaque in two coats and are better for layering than wearing by themselves. I will be doing some more manicures with these shades to show you more!

If you'd like to get your hands on these polishes then visit A England website.
