Hello lovelies,

You and I have an exciting week ahead of us! Maria from So Nailicious has organised a second Nail Art Fashion Week and I'm one of the hosts! If you'd like to know more, check out the announcement post with all details and how to join!

The theme of today is Favorite fashion designer and I chose Emanuel Ungaro. I'm not a massive fashion fan and I don't follow designers unless it's for nail inspiration but I've seen some pretty awesome clothes from Emanuel Ungaro over the years. Well, this year at Paris Fashion Week, Emanuel Ungaro presented this amazing bold flowers piece and I knew instantly I want to recreate it for Nail Art Fashion Week! If you'd like to read more about this collection and see all the other clothes, visit Vogue.

This dress falls into category 'Fall 2016 Ready-to-wear' - what do you think of it? Pretty awesome, right? I love bold prints and I love a good nail art challenge so this one was perfect :)

For this nail design I've used one coat of Cirque Memento Mori, OPI Matte Top Coat, Seche Vite Top Coat, acrylic paints and nail art brushes (Pure Color #9 and Cotman watercolour brushes from local art store).

I've done matte version of this manicure and I like it so much more than the glossy one! It also triggered something and now I'm 'mattifying' every manicure :D

Hello lovelies,

I've just realized that I've never shown you the manicure I wore to the Professional Beauty exhibition back in February. I think it's worth showing (I got some nice compliments on them ;) so let's have a look!

I've used mostly All That Jazz products starting with Base Line base coat. Then I've applied two coats of Barfly Blues nail polish and Metallic filigree stickers on accent nails. For this particular manicure I've chosen the Rose Buds pattern in gold colour. These stickers are pre-cut to different nail sizes so I've just picked the ones that fit the best. It's better to choose slightly bigger one and cut it one stuck to the nail. All That Jazz also newly sells full strips of these filigree stickers so you can cut out stripes, shapes or anything you want.

I've also added a mixture of crystals, beads and metallic items as additional accents and then topped it all with All That Jazz Top Note top coat. When working with the filigree stickers, I would recommend applying two coats of topcoat to get more even finish and longer wear. I did just one coat because I knew I will wear this look just for couple of days.

Every time I use these metallic stickers my nails feel 'million bucks' and I think I prefer the gold ones over all the other colours..although rose gold comes pretty close! Anyway that's all from me today.

Enjoy your evening everyone and see you soon! Lucie x
