Hello lovelies,

SURPRISE!!! Models Own is releasing another colourful collection called Disco Pants! There are five new shades with different finishes and all of them in groovy disco colours.

"Guaranteed to get the party started, Models own launches new DISCO PANTS collection just in time for Christmas. Adding some sparkle and taking over the dance floor, these five new fashion-forward nail polishes are fun, flirty and fabulous. The creamy pearlescent formula glides onto nails for a long-lasting, vibrant shimmer with a high-shine metallic finish - replicating the satin finish of Disco Pants! Formulated with ultra-fine, colour matched glitter; the finish is flawless and smooth.

Inspired by famous New York nightclubs, DISCO PANTS delivers all the glitz and glam of the eighties. Available in five brilliantly bejewelled shades."

Paradise Garage - light emerald green shimmer. The finish is also a bit metallic and it looks very beautiful. The formula was very nice to apply and was well-pigmented. Two thin coats were fully opaque and dried smooth. The finish was a little bit streaky so I had to pay attention to brush strokes.

Copacabana - metallic silver gold shimmer. This shade is between gold and silver so it's almost impossible for me to describe. The formula was good to apply but also fast-drying so I had to work fast to avoid patching. The pigmentation is very good so two coats were fully opaque. The finish is quite streaky so I had to pay a lot of attention to brush strokes.

Studio 54 - hot pink shimmer. I think this colour must be a staple item of any disco diva! So bright and vivid your nails will not be overlooked! It applied well and was opaque in two coats. The streaking was not very strong but I still had to pay attention to brush strokes.

Roxy - amethyst purple full of sparkly flecks. Roxy is gorgeous cool-toned purple that sparkles in the light. The formula was easy to apply but slightly less pigmented. I'm wearing two thicker coats but you could use three thin coats too. It dried fast and smooth.

Sound Factory - electric blue base with sparkly flecks. How could a vibrant electric blue not be in this collection!? It's a gorgeous shade but unfortunately the formula wasn't as great. It applied well but I needed two thick coats for full coverage (3 thin coats would do too) and it stained my nails :( I managed to get rid of the staining with whitening toothpaste and nail brush but it's a very unfortunate feature of this polish.

This is very unexpected collection and it certainly brings some colour and fun into all those autumn and winter collections. My top picks are Paradise Garage, Studio 54 and Roxy. I was born in the 80's but I certainly wasn't old enough to experience the disco craze. Sometimes I regret it, it must have been so much fun!

If you've missed review of the previous Diamond Luxe collection polishes, check it out here.

Are you excited about this collection? Which ones will you be getting?

Disco Pants polishes are priced at £4.99 each and they launch online at http://modelsownit.com/ on Friday, October 17th, in all UK Bottleshops on Saturday, October 18th and in Superdrug stores nationwide from Wednesday, October 22nd.

Hello lovelies,

Have you seen all the new polishes Barry M is releasing? Oh so many prettion! I've written about them in this post. I've already swatched the whole Glitterati collection which is what today's post is all about.

Glitterati collection consists of six glitter shades with some holographic glitter thrown into it. They are very sparkly and fun and even though the colours are more suitable for summer I still like them!

Starlet - hot magenta pink jelly full of glitter particles. Some of them have holographic effect and are tinted by the jelly base. I think this is more of a summer shade but hey - it's glitter! I've applied two thicker coats and topcoat for the pictures. It dried little gritty so topcoat was necessary.

Socialite - blue-based purple jelly base full of glitter. The glitter is mix of holographic and regular glitter in different colours creating crushed jewel-like mix. I needed two thicker coats for full coverage and topcoat to smooth out the surface.

Catwalk Queen - Aqua green base full of glitter mix. This is definitely a summer shade, it's like a tropical sea, so very pretty! I've applied two thicker coats as it's a bit sheerer.

VIP - bright blue jelly base full of glitter mix. Another very bright and gorgeous colour! I've applied two thicker coats and topcoat. It applied well but the formula was a bit thicker.

Fashion Icon - grape purple with slight colour shift to blue. This is an interesting colour. It mostly looks like dark purple but sometimes you can see a lot of electric blue in it. It is again jam packed full of glitter. I've applied two regular coats and topcoat, this shade is better pigmented than some previous ones.

Rockstar - charcoal base full of glitter mix. I don't think any rockstar would be ashamed to wear this super sparkly shade! Rockstar reminds me of a night sky full of stars :) I'm wearing two regular coats and topcoat.

The whole collection is very beautiful and super sparkly and my absolute favourites are Catwalk Queen, Rockstar and Fashion Icon. All polishes had the same formula - they applied well but more I've used the polish the thicker the formula got. I could see it mostly at the bottle neck so I think some thinner will be needed in the future. Otherwise they dried fast and only a bit gritty so topcoat sorted it out. Very nice collection!

Barry M Glitterati collection is available at Barry M website, in Superdrug and Boots. Launching in Superdrug 24th September and in Boots 1st October.

Let me know what you think in the comments!

Have a nice day! Lucie x
