Hello lovelies,

I've got an early peek at the SpaRitual Spring 2015 collection called Rhythm and I will show you the only glitter polish in it - Pattern. Rhythm collection will be released around the end of January and will consist of six colours in total. As always, SpaRitual polishes are vegan and cruelty-free.

Pattern is a cool-toned grey brown creme base with burnt orange hex glitter and orange flakes. It's a very unusual polish and I certainly don't have any other like this one in my collection. The formula was somewhat thicker than usually, probably because of the amount of glitter and flakes. Despite that I managed to apply two coats just fine. I finished off with a coat of topcoat. I recommend using thicker topcoat because Pattern has quite bumpy finish due to the glitter.

I think Pattern is quite unusual and earthy colour for Spring especially when the rest of the collection is made up of pastel and bright shades. Nevertheless it's unique and I'm glad to have tried it.

The Rhythm collection will be available at SpaRitual US and SpaRitual UK websites and at the usual outlets at the end of January/beginning of February.

Have a nice day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Today I want to show you five Glitter Bomb toppers by Rimmel which have been released before the holiday season. Although holiday has already passed there is never a bad time for a bit of sparkle and glitter, right?

I have swatched each Glitter Bomb on nail over black base and then even added matte topcoat which turned them into something I loved even more! Let's have a look:

SO MUCH GLITTER GOODNESS!!! Right?

The shades are:

  • Disco Diva - light pink and silver holographic glitter in a clear base
  • Bling Thing - gold hex glitter and silver holographic stars glitter in a clear base
  • Bedazzle - magenta pink and blue hex glitter in a clear base
  • Disco Fever - silver holographic square glitter in a clear base
  • Midnight Mistletoe - red, green and silver holographic glitter in a clear base

They all had easy to work with formula and are perfect for layering over any colour or gradient. Each shade has different amount of glitter so I have used just one coat on each nail to show you the density of glitter. You might have seen Bling Thing used in my New Year's Eve manicure ;)

These Rimmel polishes are available in drugstores and supermarkets near you (hopefully in the US & whole Europe too).

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
