Hello lovelies,

Hope you're enjoying the weekend as much I do! I'm not putting up a regular Christmas tree this year so I made alternative one to hang on the wall. I might post some pic on social media once I finish it. Meanwhile I'll write today's post for you.

I want to show you a pretty glitter polish from SpaRitual called Living. It is part of the Home collection for Holiday 2014. Living can be applied alone but I wanted to show you how it looks layered over different bases.

Living is a mixture of small purple and magenta hexagon glitter and gold flecks in clear base. The glitter is quite dense so it could be opaque in 2-3 coats but I've decided to layer it. I have used one coat of Living over SpaRitual Bravery (thumb, middle & pinkie) and Vivid (index & ring). The application was easy and there was plenty of glitter on the brush so I didn't have to worry about even placement. It dried fast and not too gritty but I still applied a coat of topcoat.

Living is a very pretty 'glitter bomb' and I enjoyed wearing it. It would be a great polish for glitter gradients as well :)

The Home collection is available at SpaRitual US and SpaRitual UK websites and at the usual outlets.

Have a nice day! Lucie x

Hello lovelies,

Hope you're all well and looking forward to the holidays! I feel like I've been slacking with posting lately but on the other hand I'm preparing quite a few tutorials for this blog and for Lucy's Stash PRO!

For today's post I've prepared another gold foil nail art so I hope you'll like it.

I've started with two coats of Color Club Apple Of My Eye. Then I've used a fluffy brush to apply foil glue in random streaks. I wanted to achieve uneven and broken up look. Once the glue dried and was completely clear I pressed the gold foil on the nail. Then I've sealed the foil with Dance Legend AquaGenetic.

Lastly, I've put on nails some cute rose nail charms from The Sparkly Shop! Laura, the owner of the shop is a fellow nail blogger and very dear to me and she has offered an exclusive discount to you, my readers! Use code LUCY15 for 15% discount. The Sparkly Shop has all the different glitters for glitter placement, nail charms and more, a heaven for nail addicts :D

Color Club Apple Of My Eye* is a stunning red-based berry purple, I absolutely adore these colours! It looks vampy and beautiful by itself and I really liked it on my nails. The formula was easy to apply but the pigmentation was a bit lower. I've applied two thicker coats but three would be even better. Apple Of My Eye is a part of the new Made In New York collection.

Color Club polishes are available at their website and pretty much everywhere in drug stores and online so I'm sure you won't have troubles finding them.

Have a lovely day! Lucie x
