Hello lovelies,

There are few new products from SpaRitual that recently came out and that are worth showing to you - they are the Spring Collection Rhythm (today I'll show you Cycles) and Unveil Peel Off basecoat. Rhythm collection consists of six shades in total and I've already reviewed Pattern from the, you can check it out here.

Cycles is a muted creme shade that is quite light but not light enough to be called pastel colour. The formula was easy to apply but little bit watery. Despite that, I needed just two thicker coats for full coverage. The drying time was average and the polish dried glossy. I still applied topcoat though.

I was testing the new SpaRitual Unveil Peel Off basecoat together with Cycles. It is a bit different from the other peel off base coats like OPI because it dries matte and chalky but it works well. I have applied it under Cycles and Soul (gold holo glitter) just to test it with glitter as well. Pictures below show how it looks applied and how it looks when it's dry and ready for use. I've applied two coats on the index finger.

The Unveil Peel Off basecoat has a thin brush which I quite liked working with because it helped me not to flood my cuticles. It is quite important not to with peel off base coats otherwise when you do clean up it might cause early lifting and peeling off. Once I wore the manicure for full 24 hours I peeled the polish off. It might a bit hard to find some good edge to start peeling but I always find it easier to start at the free edge. I 'wrap' the free edge with the peel off base coat and then with polish and when I want to remove it I use the other end of a hoof stick (the plastic handle) and gently scrape the free edge. This opens up the sealed nail and the polish can be peeled off easily. I find this base coat worked well, peeled off in a single piece and didn't chip after few hours.

Hello lovelies,

I've got an early peek at the SpaRitual Spring 2015 collection called Rhythm and I will show you the only glitter polish in it - Pattern. Rhythm collection will be released around the end of January and will consist of six colours in total. As always, SpaRitual polishes are vegan and cruelty-free.

Pattern is a cool-toned grey brown creme base with burnt orange hex glitter and orange flakes. It's a very unusual polish and I certainly don't have any other like this one in my collection. The formula was somewhat thicker than usually, probably because of the amount of glitter and flakes. Despite that I managed to apply two coats just fine. I finished off with a coat of topcoat. I recommend using thicker topcoat because Pattern has quite bumpy finish due to the glitter.

I think Pattern is quite unusual and earthy colour for Spring especially when the rest of the collection is made up of pastel and bright shades. Nevertheless it's unique and I'm glad to have tried it.

The Rhythm collection will be available at SpaRitual US and SpaRitual UK websites and at the usual outlets at the end of January/beginning of February.

Have a nice day! Lucie x
